Baby Photography in Port Talbot and Swansea
So I thought I would do a blog about a gorgeous little one that I photographed recently, her name is Rivere and by the end of the session I was quite smitten. I’m always fond of every baby that comes into the studio as I spend time with each little one, getting to know them and their unique personalities and reading and watching their body language. This is part of the training that I have every year as it’s so important. Parents who attend my studio will know that it’s not a case of just putting the baby into a bucket or a crate and photographing.
Anyway, Rivere came in with mummy and her best friend and I can honestly say it was such a fun afternoon. We laughed, chatted whilst I photographed Rivere and generally had a nice time and when they left I genuinely knew I had made two new friends. Riveres mum was kindly gifted a voucher for a newborn session and was looking for a Baby photographer in Port Talbot and Swansea and came across me and I was so glad she did.
Back to the session. So Rivere was a bit like a mystery customer coming to test me and didn’t quite settle for the first hour or so and was very fond of mummy for feeds but I know that once Rivere was fed and comfortable that we would become friends and thats exactly what happened.
The first part of the session was on my posing bed where we got lots of lovely poses including my favourite which was this chin on hands image with a beautiful dried flower posy for her head.

When Charlotte attended her viewing session to see all the finished images there were some happy tears and lots of gasps. This reaction fills me with such pride knowing that I have created images and memories for years to come.
I asked Charlotte what she thought of her images and session and had this reply from her.
“The whole experience, how you handled our baby with ease and how we felt welcomed into the studio. We were never made to feel rushed or awkward. Every photo was taken with 100% effort with the style I requested. Simply amazing”
Its feedback like this that makes me so grateful for my work and the time I have taken to train in this wonderful career , the clients and my little clients that have stepped through my door in the past 6 years.
