Ive been so busy with weddings that I'm a bit behind with my blog posts. So here is a catch up.
As a Swansea Wedding Photographer I am so lucky that I get photograph some beautiful venues and one of these is the Oxwich Bay Hotel so this is there my first blog post of the month takes me for the wedding of Leslie and Ricardo. The day started sunny and warm and I met Leslie at her and Ricardo home for bridal preparations.
I love capturing the details from the shoes and the dress, even down to the little things such as a card from the groom or a painting in the house that stands out.
We then moved onto St Josephs Cathedral in Swansea which is close to my heart as this is where I married by husband so it was lovely to go back there. After the wedding ceremony we then moved onto
the Oxwich Bay, first stopping by a view point that I call "five bar gate" here there are beautiful views over Gower and down to Three Cliffs Bay.
The marquee at Oxwich Bay was decorated beautifully and included little touches such as little bottles of sand that their son had collected for each guest and personalised menus.
The whole day was filled with emotion with laughter and a few tears when Ricardo, whos from Portugal had a video message from his family and there wasn't a dry eye there.
The day was finished by a walk down onto the beach at sundown for a few photographs as a family and with some friends
Thank you so much for asking me to capture your day Leslie and Ricardo, it was an honour x
